Woodland is a street-level station on the "D" branch of the MBTA Green Line. The station is located at 1940 Washington Street (Massachusetts Route 16) in Newton. The station is 42 minutes away from Park Street. The station is located near the Woodland Country Club and Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and was built in 1959 as a replacement for the original Woodland Boston and Albany Railroad station. The station contains a parking garage with 548 spaces, 16 accessible spaces, and two Zipcar spaces. The garage was added in 2006 as part of a station renovation project that also made the station accessible. The station contained a 450 space parking lot before the addition of the garage. The station also contains 16 bicycle spaces.
As of 2009, connecting service at the station includes MetroWest Regional Transit Authority Route 1 bus.
